Sarah Virginia and her friend Bee Laceky joined Jane Douglas Chapter NSDAR when I was Regent 1992-1994.  I remember her enthusiasm, volunteering as a hostess for our September 1993 meeting, and she and Bee both volunteered to be on the telephone committee that year. Sarah was always  supportive of all of our programs and gave so much of herself. She was a joy!

Judy, i'm so sorry to hear of Aunt Virginia passing...she was a pistol and i so enjoyed the summer visits to "the Beard's" w/ Aunt Janie Rae....you and your family are in my prayers as I remember all our wonderful and hilarious moments and good food...i know Aunt Virginia is with my nanny (Lois) in heaven laughing!  Your Mom and Dad were the best and  we had many great times together for almost 30 years. Thru thick and thin, Judy you were always taking care of your Father and your Mother. Not just the sick times but also the good times, you were there no matter what. 
No one could ask for  a better daughter and enduring care of your parents and your family. 

I willl miss Virginia and her cooking her famous turkey dressing and so much more.

Have many happy memories of our visits years back, but even though so much time has passed and we haven't been in touch, I still remember her as a really "cool" lady.
