Sarah Nell Sarah Nell Cook, born February 27, 1918 in Baird, Texas, went home to be with her Lord June 12, 2015. She attended Baird Public Schools and graduated from Winters High School in Winters, TX in 1935. She was an Insurance Underwriter for Employers Casualty where she retired in 1972. On November 26, 1936 she married Carl Cook. They were married for 73 wonderful years. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Hugh Rich; parents Willis Leslie Cooke and Retha Mae Collins Cooke; siblings W.R. Cooke, Julia Bryant, Morris H. Cooke and Maurine Heaton. She is survived by her children Ross L. Cook (Wanda), C. Leslie Cook (Suzanne and Retha Anne Jordan (Bill); eight grandchildren, 20 great grand children, nine great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 1:00pm with services immediately following at 2:00pm at Orchard Hills Baptist Church, 3901 Saturn Road Garland, TX where Mrs. Cook was a faithful member and teacher for many years.
