Sergio Lopez, age 54, passed away on January 11, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on September 24, 1971, in Dallas, Texas to Mauro & Ofelia Lopez.
Sergio was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from North Dallas high School in 1991. In his spare time, he enjoyed attending sporting events and spending time with family and friends. His family and friends will always remember him as a free spirit who was full of life and enjoyed moments to the fullest.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ofelia Lopez. He's survived by his father Mauro Lopez; siblings, Lina Held, Jose Lopez, Cosme Lopez, Maura Bain and Laura Samuels; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on January 30, 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, located at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas, 75220.
The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on January 30, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the North Chapel (inside the mausoleum) of Calvary Hill Cemetery followed by the committal service at 2:00 pm at St. John East Mausoleum, and a reception at 2:30 pm back in the main funeral home building.
