Shari Yvonne Locke

Ms. Shari Yvonne Locke was born May 13, 1958 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Margaret Greenleaf Williams. She accepted Christ as her savior at Peoples Missionary Baptist Church under the late Rev. S.M. Wright.

She attended and graduated from the great Lincoln High School in Dallas, Tx class of 1976, the home of the tigers. She worked for the City of Dallas in several departments before retiring from the water department. In addition to working for the City of Dallas she also worked for Super Target, Mesquite, Texas, where she also retired from as well. After retiring she decided to go back to work and worked for Willis Tower Watson as a benefit advisor.

She departed this life at Baylor Medical Center on May 17, 2026 in Dallas, Tx.

She is preceded in death by her mother Margaret Greenleaf Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories; father; Grady D. Spicer of Dallas, Tx, sisters; Birdie Powell and Tina Campbell of Dallas, Tx, three brothers; Rev. Grady Brown, of Rosser, Tx, Micheal Hughey of Kemp, Tx, and Bishop Donald Harden of Austin, Tx; daughter, Sharity James, and son; Sherrod Locke of Dallas, Tx, three granddaughter’s; Sammeisha LaFleur, Shakeisha Locke, and Shanece Locke all of Dallas, Tx, grandson; Sherrod Locke Jr of Dallas, Tx; two goddaughters; Kiantia Wonzer "Donna" and Seketha Wonzer "Sky" of Dallas, Tx; and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives and friends.
