Sharon Marie Tyson Harper of Carrollton Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on March 23, 2023, after a hard-fought battle against cancer. Sharon was born in Comanche Texas on December 24, 1951. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
Sharon spent her life caring for others as a not only registered nurse, but also as one of the kindest and most thoughtful people one might ever meet.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Ray Harper; her daughter LeAnne (husband Jay); grandsons Brandon (wife Jennifer) and Cody; great granddaughter Bristol; brothers Rusty (wife Dina) and Michael (wife Teresa); nieces Elysa, Wendy (husband Patrick), Heidi (husband John); nephew Casey, and many great nieces and nephews along with extended family around the world.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Toy and Elizabeth (Emmerich) Tyson; her grandparents Franz and Maria (Wolf) Emmerich and Thomas and Ethel (Stewart) Tyson.
Sharon will be greatly missed. The family asks that instead of flowers those wishing to remember Sharon make donations in her name to The Hope Fund for Sarcoma Research (www.nfcr.org).
A graveside service for Sharon will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Laurel Land Mem Park - Dallas, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232.
