Beloved Simon D. Post passed away March 5, 2021. Simon was born in New York on August 11, 1926. He graduated from City College, and was an Air Force veteran. Simon married Clarice on July 3, 1956, in Lovington, NM. A life-long engineer, he started off working in the oil fields of Texas and Tunisia, and later worked on Apollo rockets and semiconductors, including growing silicone crystals. He was an avid lover of France, was keenly interested in world history, and enjoyed traveling and visiting museums. He is survived by his wife, Clarice, sons Ian and David, and son-in-law Ivan Hoadley. A private graveside service was held Monday, March 8.
