Sophia was born in Dallas, Texas on June 18, 1941, to Eusebio and Maria Perez. She graduated from Crozier Tech High School. Sophia was married to Ezekiel Fraga on, August 5, 1967 and they were married for 58 years.
Sophia Fraga worked as a revenue recovery specialist agent for the Housing Department for the City of Dallas for 15 years. She enjoyed reading novels, chatting with her grand daughters, and painting with her granddaughter, Marlo.
Sophia is preceded in death by Phillip Ray Fraga- her son; Eusebio and Maria Perez- her parents; and Melesio Perez, Eugene Perez, Elvira Diaz, Leonor Carrillo and Delfino Perez.
Sophia is survived by her spouse, Ezekiel Fraga; her daughter, Christina Fraga; three granddaughters, Sienna Grace Elgueseba, Leilah Ydalis Elgueseba and Marlo Tatiana Ray Elgueseba; brothers, Eusebio Jr. Perez and Edmundo Perez; and sister, Hortencia Valencia; as well as 8 nieces and 7 nephews, and other family and friends.
