His mother was a fantastic cook who loved cooking and taking care of her family. Even after all the boys grew up with families of their own they knew where they were supposed to be for Sunday dinner and to look at football games and dominoes.
Stan began his Christian walk at an early age and was a member of New Generation Baptist Church of Dallas, TX under the leadership of the late Rev. Stepney. Stan James was a Global Businessman with ties to international relationships with many successful investors and financial traders around the world his reach was unlimited. Stan was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan; but he loved other sports especially golf. He loved spending time with his Dad who taught him many life lessons. Both being movie fanatics, would spend their Saturdays going to the movie from one movie set to the next for almost the whole day. One of the favorite things his Dad taught him, his brothers and nephews was how to play dominos and they thought that there were none others that could beat them. Family Reunions and family get together were always a time of joy and great fun trying to see who would be Domino Champs. Now he gets to play the game with those who thought they were the absolute best: his Dad, his Aunt Ruby, and Uncles: Cleo, Ivory, Aron and Albert, His Mother, Jessie Mae could play dominoes but was not such a fan of the game but she would keep scores.
