

She was the third of four children to the late James and Berta Lee Randall. Stanzella and her family moved to Dallas, Texas in 1961, where she accepted Christ at an early age.
Lain started her educational background in Dallas Independent School District attending Charles Rice, Pearle C. Anderson, and the mighty Lincoln High School where she met many friends and maintained long-lasting relationships.
After graduating high school, while working at Minyard’s Food Store, she met the love of her life Jerry and they married in 1983. Shortly after, Stanzella started her career at Bank of America where she sustained a 40-year career until she was called home to be with the Lord.
Stanzella was a kind, caring, loving devoted Christian and always thought of others before herself. She loved living life and spending time with family and friends. She touched so many people with her gentle heart and our mother is going to be greatly missed.
Stanzella is in Heaven with her parents: James and Berta Lee Randall, in-laws: Raymond Sr. and Dimple Jackson, brother-in-law: Raymond Jackson Jr., cousin/sister: LaRhonda Houston, and special aunts and uncles.
Stanzella’s memory lives on with her husband of 43 years: Jerry Jackson, two daughters: ShaTresia Randall-Payton (Craig), and Candace Malone (Aaron); two step-sons: Jecole Jackson and Jarrod Reed (Tonya); 7 grandchildren: Jecole Jackson Jr., Jarrod Reed Jr, Sean Randall, Cha’nel Payton, Ja’rriah Reed, and Aaron Malone Jr. ; two sisters: Vanessa Randall-Anderson(Stanley), LeVeta Randall, one brother: Jimmy Randall (Yolanda); one uncle: Wilbert Houston; three brothers-in-law: Robert Lee Jackson (Marlyn), Donald Ray Jackson (Linda), Otha Wayne Jackson (Crystal) and one sister-in-law: Shanda Brown (Horace); and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins to cherish her legacy.
A visitation for Stanzella will be held Friday, June 6, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L., Dallas, TX 75232. A funeral will occur Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Greater New Zion Baptist, 2210 Pine St, Dallas, TX 75215. A committal will occur Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home & Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232.
