Stella Leona Beasley

Stella L. Beasley – Obituary June 25, 1926 – January 11, 2015 Stella L. Beasley, age 88, of Dallas, TX went home to be with the Lord on January 11, 2015.   Stella was born June 25, 1926 in Centralia, OK to Roscoe & Myrtle Barney.  She moved to Dallas, TX after graduating from high school in Centralia, OK.   In 1991 Stella moved into the Tyler Street Manor after her husband passed away.  She was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church where she volunteered her time in the church office for many years.  Due to declining health she moved into Abba Care Assisted Living on 11/29/2014 until she passed away on 1/11/2015.   She was preceded in death by her Son, Gary L. Nidefer, her Husband, R.O. Beasley, her Mother & Father, Roscoe & Myrtle Barney, four Sisters, Ruth Genco, Hazel Tyrey, Fern Thomas, Lena Shrout and five Brothers, Elbert Barney, Wilbur Barney, Fred Barney, Bobby Barney, Buddy Barney.  Survivors include one Sister, Nina Cox of Tampa, FL and many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.   Visitation services will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6000 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232 on Tuesday evening, 1/13/2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and a funeral service will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home on Wednesday, 1/14/2015 at 2:00 p.m.
