

Stephanie “Stevie” Bearden was born April 19, 1969, and passed April 15, 2026, at the age of 56. A resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, Stevie will be remembered with deep respect and enduring love by all who were blessed to know her.
Known to many as “Stevie,” she lived with a steady devotion to the people entrusted to her care—an honest, kind-hearted presence whose compassion was felt in quiet, consistent ways. Stevie’s love was practical and generous, expressed through the daily work of building a life that welcomed others in and made them feel they belonged.
Stevie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was centered around the people she loved most. She shared 21 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Billy Flippo Sr., building a life marked by faith, loyalty, and unwavering support.
She was a proud and devoted mother to Michael Oglesby, Zachary Hunter Oglesby and wife Catherine Oglesby, Brittany Flippo, and Billy Flippo Jr. Stevie absolutely cherished her grandchildren—Harper Oglesby, Alexander Flippo, Adrian Flippo, Caysen Flippo, and Jesse Flippo. Being their Grandma Stevie & Nana was one of the greatest joys of her life, and she loved each of them deeply even the two on the way. Stevie was preceded in death by her father Bill Bearden. Stevie survived by her mother Sonnie Bearden. Siblings, Velvet Carol and husband Ronnie, Rick Bearden, Leslie Wells and husband Kirk, and Billy Bearden and wife Katie.
Stevie found joy in the simple things in life. She loved shopping and going out to eat Mexican food—especially enjoying her favorite salsa. She took pride in her home and loved creating a warm, welcoming place for her family. She also enjoyed being out on the water, fishing, and watching the Blue Angels fly overhead—moments that reflected her spirited love of life and her sense of adventure.
She had a deep love for her family and was especially proud of her children and grandchildren. She loved talking about them and sharing their lives with others—always glowing with pride. Stevie will be remembered for her loving heart, her laughter, and the way she made everyone feel special and cared for.
