Stephen Michael Spinella

Stephen proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1978. After his military service, he worked for several retail companies including Foot Locker, J.C. Penney, Macy’s, Joseph A. Bank, and Men’s Wearhouse.

Known for his kind heart and his motto of “living life one day at a time,” Stephen enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to 80s music, cheering on his favorite sports teams, driving his convertible, and most of all, spending time with his children.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his oldest son Brett Spinella who passed on January 4, 2025. He is survived by his sister, Shari Spinella; his brother, Gary Spinella; and his youngest son, Brian Spinella.

A funeral service with military honors will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. CST at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas Texas 75211. His youngest son Brian would like to extends heartfelt thanks to Mr. Richard Paschal, Ms. Donna Gurica, NP, and Ms. Peggy Benn for their care, support, and kindness during Stephen’s final years.
