Three sisters and two brothers proceeded him in death. He was married to Julie Lenard and to this union four children were born: three daughters and one son. He was preceded in death by his wife and son, Derek.
He as a former member of the Carver Heights Baptist Church. In 1986, Bro. and Sis. Lenard became charter members of the Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas under the late Dr. Karry D. Wesley. Bro. Lenard was a faithful member in good standing; he was active with the senior usher’s ministry, parking lot security, building and grounds.
He leaves to cherish his homegoing three daughters, Marsha Lee (Robert Sr.), Sherri Lenard and Karen Lenard, all of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Carisha (Derek) Barrance, Robert, Jr. (Toshia), Eli Lenard and Latoyia (Cedric) Washington; seven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
