

Steven Edwin Hawley was born in Dallas, Texas on June 30, 1957, to the parents of Raydell and Martha Hawley who preceded him death along with four siblings. Steven accepted Christ at an early age and attended Dallas Public Schools. He graduated from South Oak Cliff High School. He served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. Steven was a fisherman, who enjoyed casting the rod and reel. He was a grill master and his love for it, brought joy to his family. He was an avid sport fanatic who loved basketball and football, which were his favorite sports. He played in POP warner sports as a child and through his junior high and high school years. Steven played Semi Pro Football with the Dallas Outlaws.
Steven Edwin Hawley, Sr. was a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He departed this life on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the age of sixty-seven. His departure leaves an indelible void in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
Those that will cherish the memories of Steve, his beloved wife, Vickie of forty-three years; sons, Kevin and Steven, Jr.; two grandchildren, Tiana and Devon; siblings, Linda Griffin, Larry Hawley, Dennis Craig and Wanda Leonard and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and his beloved pet, Molly Bea.
