After graduating from Richardson High School, he went on to graduate Suma Cum Laude from SMU, and then graduated from The University of Texas Law School with honors.
Steve lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with family, traveling, enjoying wine, and being with his circle of friends.
Steve leaves behind a loving father, William Phelps, and two brothers Bill and Jeff Phelps, along with three nephews Luke, Jake and Nash Phelps
Family and friends are invited to Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral home for viewing Wednesday the 6th from 6-8PM. A memorial Service will be held Thursday the 7th at 3PM At Sparkman-Hillcrest.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
