Thelma Sue Goodnight (Sue) passed away on November 18, 2019 at the age of 87. Sue was born on November 15, 1932 to the late Marvin D. Love and Thelma Johnson Love in Dallas, Texas. She devoted her life to service, primarily with Kidney Texas, Inc. Kidney awarded her the first “Kidney Texas Life Achievement Award” and annually presents the “Sue Goodnight Service Award” to deserving charity members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronald Goodnight, her daughter, Kay Potts, and her brother, Marvin "Dan" Love. She is survived by her sister, Fay Wheeler, three children and their spouses, David Goodnight (Laurie), Gaylan Goodnight (Don), and Jana White (Jim), six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, seven step-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Sue’s life will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019, 2:30pm, at Cliff Temple Baptist Church,125 Sunset Ave., Dallas, Texas 75203.
