I met Teegan through a mutual friend that went to school with her when she was here in Houston. In our little time we talked, i understood I was engaging in a Smart, Bright, funny, witty and very sweet woman in Teegan. This news saddens me because it's the 14th of July and she has been gone now ten days and I just found out this Morning. My condolences to the Family and friends of the sisters and my Prayers will be with you all.

Ms. Broom was a kind and sweet teacher. Me and my classmates were in her first year of teaching.  Everyone loved her bright and caring personality. Every time we'd enter her 2nd period science class, she'd greet us with joy. We sometimes gave her a hard time but she always kept her head up and kept trying. She was definitely the best dressed teacher and not one day did she re-wear an outfit to class. May both of these women Rest In Peace. Condolences to the family.

Troinee was a fun, happy, outgoing teacher. I loved her personality and how she dressed. My kids remember her as the "queen bee" because one of the dress up days at school she was the most graceful looking bee- and she said "I am a queen". She will be miss by her students, parents, and coworkers. So sad to lose a friend so young full of dreams and goals. Til we see each other again.

I am so sorry for your loss. I loved working with her. She was an awesome attorney and I had fun working on cases with her. She had compassion, was kind, dedicated to her job and eager to learn, funny, quirky at times, which I loved about her, a great listener, a good friend.  Will miss you Teegan!    --Love, Ana Powell

I had the great pleasure of working with Teegan for the past few years and becoming fast friends with her. She was the most wonderful person- brilliant, kind, beautiful, driven, caring, funny, brave, and considerate. I will miss hearing her sing and her funny stories, and our long phone calls. She was a true beacon of light in our world. I am praying for her, Troinee, and their family and friends.

Troinee was my partner when she came to HSIE to teach 3rd grade. She didn’t let a broken leg stop her from doing her best for our 3rd grade students and continued to give her all as a kindergarten teacher. Her love for her students and her desire to see them succeed was plain for all to see. She will be sorely missed.

     I had the pleasure to have worked with Troinee at Harmony.  She was a strong, caring woman. We shared lots of memories of Houston, where we are both from. She came by my classroom almost daily,  just to say "hi" or show me her latest outfit. On theme days, she was the best dresser.  I thought of her like my work daughter. We were kindred spirits, yet decades apart. She will always hold a place in my heart.
     I pray for comfort for the family for loss of two beautiful women.  What a glorious day it will be when we all are united again.

Teegan was a light. We met at Vanderbilt. She was kind and strong and good and beautiful; all the things a person could aspire to be. Her transition is a ripple that will affect the lives of everyone blessed to know her. I pray that her soul is basking in eternal peace and love. I pray that God is a balm to the heart of all those who will be forever changed from the loss of such an astounding woman. God bless you. 

Teegan was one of the most memorable student-athletes I ever had the chance to work with.  Loud, sweet, fun, biggest heart ever, so fun to be around and to coach.  She had character, ambition, talent, charisma, intelligence, and a smile and voice that you could not mistake!  I miss you, kiddo, and thank God for including you in my life.  You're gone too soon from us, but now you are at peace forever.

Teegan was certainly one of a kind.  I had the pleasure of working with her in the last few years.  She was always so funny and kind.  She had a great singing voice and used to sing around the office.  We used to have talks at lunch about who was better, Mariah v. Whitney, etc.   Such a great spirit and talent.  I am so sorry for the loss of her and her sister, Troinee.  Will continue to keep your family in my prayers for God's closeness and comfort.  

To the family of Teegan Hill,

I worked with Teegan here at The Bassett Firm. I just joined the team in February 2021 so my interactions with Teegan were brief.  However, when I finally met her in person last month, she was very nice and full of energy! 

Teegan and one of the Partner's at the firm ran a relay race at our last group function and hearing the trash talk being thrown around was highly entertaining! I could tell she was THAT girl who could talk the talk to anyone she encountered! 

I am saddened and still in shock of Teegan and her sister, Troinee, tragic passing. I pray for all of the family and friends of both ladies during this unimaginable time of grief. I pray for your healing and your peace of mind. Love and light to you all. Rest in Peace Teegan and Troinee!
