Teresa Arriaga Lopez, 86 passed away on February 7, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on September 10, 1932 in Marlin, Texas to Felipe and Natividad Arriaga. Teresa was raised in the two Texas towns of Marlin and Waco. She married Leoncio Lopez in 1948 and the couple had five children. She owned her own Beauty Shop for over twenty years before settling in to be a housewife. In her spare time she enjoyed the outdoors along with her flowers and feeding her fish. She also enjoyed going garage selling on the weekends. She had a great gift and love for making quilts and completing small projects around the house using her sewing machine. Her most favorite activity is to play the Lotteria on a daily basis along with visiting the casino and playing casino games on her tablet. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leoncio Lopez; baby Leoncio Lopez; sisters, Agapita Barello Almendariz Ibarra, Anita Arriaga Ochoa; grandmother, Cleofas Almendarez. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Sarah Nunez; son, Tomas A. Lopez and wife Suzanne B. Lopez, Phillip Lopez and wife Tamiko N. Lopez; grandchildren, Michelle Lopez, Christopher Tomas Lopez, Tatyana E. Lopez, Connie E. Lopez, and Alexis N. Lopez; great-grandchildren, Gia Almanza and Dhalis Gambino; constant companions and nieces, Anna Marie Ochoa and Mary H. Hernandez. Her pallbearers will include, Mario Hernandez, Timmy Ochoa, Christopher Lopez, Robert Ochoa, Santos Almendarez Junior, and Paul Liscano.
