sound in this world is their
mother saying, “I love you”.
In loving memory and celebration of Thelma Lee Hall. She passed away at home, at age 96, on January 22, 2021. She was at peace and left family and friends with love.
A lifelong Texan, she was born November 16, 1924 at home in what is today, Plano, TX. Although a tiny lady, being the oldest of 10 children and having two sisters, (the rest being brothers), her beloved husband always said that was what made her such a strong, determined, take charge woman.
Thelma was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 70 years, Talton Hall. She leaves behind a daughter, Kathleen, a sister, Doris, granddaughter, Jennifer, two grandsons, Stephen and Brian, along with their spouses and nine beautiful great-grandchildren whom she adored.
Her talents were many, artistic, an avid gardener, fisherwoman, fantastic cook who created delicious meals for family and Friends. It was joked that she could make a brick taste good and she always got requests for her fabulous pies. A wonderful mama.
She was passionate about chocolate candy (sweets in general) and looked forward to watching Golden Girls every night.
Her daughter would like to express thanks and gratitude for the wonderful care given by Aliena Hospice and also Alta Hospice.
