Thomas Dell Huffhines Jr.

Thomas Dell Huffhines Jr. (“T”), 61, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on December 30, 1964, T grew up in the Canyon Creek neighborhood of Richardson, Texas. He graduated from Plano Senior High School in Plano, Texas, as a member of the Class of 1983.

Following graduation, T entered the produce industry, continuing a family legacy established by his great-grandfather, grandfather, and father. Produce wasn’t simply his career—it was part of who he was. Through his career, he established many personal friends nationwide.

T is survived by his parents, Lou Ann and Thomas Dell Huffhines Sr. (“Tommy”); his daughter, Jessica (Huffhines) Birth and her husband, Hunter Birth; his beloved grandson, Jameson Birth; his son, Thomas Dell Huffhines III (“Trey”); and his sisters, Tracy Huffhines and Tricia (Huffhines) Jones and her husband, Brad Jones. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jenna Belle Huffhines.

Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Funeral Mass celebrating T’s life will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5100 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093, with Father Michael Forge officiating.

Committal Rites will take place at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220 at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to North Texas Food Bank in honor of T’s memory.
