Thomas "Tomi" Lucius LaBarba

Tomi was born in Dallas, Texas on November 4, 1956, to Dr. Carl S. and Mrs. Virginia LaBarba. He graduated from Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas and continued on to University of California Los Angeles.

Tomi has worked as an array of jobs over the years. From Assistant Manager of Tom Thumb, Assistant Manager of Roy’s Natural Market, a limo driver in his college years, to an associate at Target. He enjoyed the finer things in life. He liked to travel to a variety of places and very easily made friends everywhere he went. He knew no stranger and would be everyone’s best friend by the time he left. He was a hard worker who doted on his children. Loved spoiling them and taking them on adventures to the Dallas Zoo and the Dallas World Aquarium. Enjoyed watching movies, his favorite being classic scary movies. He was loved very much and will be missed even more.

Tomi LaBarba is preceded in death by his father Dr. Carl LaBarba, Mother Virginia LaBarba, and Sister Paula.

Tomi LaBarba is survived by his wife Peggy Walker, a couple fur babies, Son Carlo LaBarba, Daughter Krisanne Tillery, Grandchildren Mason and Cheyanne Tillery. Nieces Stephanie Williams-Jackson and Rochelle Williams. Grand and great-grand Nieces and Nephews. Along with other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 11am at the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Mausoleum. Funeral Mass will be immediately following at 12pm (Noon) with the entombment shortly after.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
