

Tillie Trevino, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on May 16, 2025, in Ennis, Texas. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Born on December 13, 1941, in Dallas, Texas, Tillie was the cherished daughter of Juanita and Marcelino Martinez. She grew up surrounded by family, instilling in her a strong sense of community and the importance of family bonds. Tillie dedicated over 25 years of her life to her career as a store manager for the M.E. Moses company, where her leadership and dedication earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and customers alike.
Tillie's life was marked by her devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, William O. "Billy" Jackson, her parents, and her sister, Nellie Zuniga. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughters, Diane Trevino, Corrine Hayes, Jennifer Mello, as well as her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, who were the light of her life. Tillie is also survived by her loving sisters, Cira Paz and her spouse Luis Paz, and Rita Perez, who was married to the late Amador Perez.
A visitation will be held in her honor on May 27 from 5 to 7 PM, followed by a service on May 28 at 10 AM at Grove Hill, with burial to follow at 11 AM.
