Tim was born in Houston, Texas on May 15, 1943, and lived in Dallas for over thirty years before retiring to East Texas in 2009. He was a devoted husband, father, son and brother and was dearly beloved by all of his family.
He graduated from the University of Houston in 1967 and enjoyed a successful career in communication equipment sales. He founded Technical Concepts Corporation in 1979 and built a reputation as a leader and innovator in the wireless communications industry.
Survived by his wife, Elizabeth, daughter and son-in-law Heather and Glenn Comtois, son Derek Minahan and daughter, Mandy McCurry, all of Dallas, mother and father, Tim and Hazel Minahan of Plano and brother Bill Minahan also of Plano
Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sparkman Hillcrest.
The family has asked that memorials be to the Children’s Advocy Center of Van Zandt County, 547 S. Buffalo St., Canton, TX 75103
