Tomasa G. Rodriguez, 83, entered into peace on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. She was born on December 21, 1929 in Liberty Hill, Texas, a daughter of the late Genaro and Pompeya Guerrero. Tomasa married Homero Rodriguez on February 22, 1948 and together had 6 children, Juanita, Maria Louisa, Raquel, Ruben, Raul and Tomasa. She was preceded in death by her parents, and granddaughter, Victoria Allysa Pena. She leaves her memories to be cherished by her loving family and siblings, Anita Chapa, Hilaria Garcia, Consuelo Martinez, David Guerrero and Frederico Guerrero. Although she was so tiny and frail, she gave us all such courage, hope, faith and reminded us of the preciousness of life. She loved to read the Bible, garden and be surrounded by her grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Friday, December 21, 2012 with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be 12:00 pm, Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Mausoleum. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
