Tracy's heritage in this country runs deep. A servant who came on the Mayflower and signed the Mayflower Compact. A minuteman who answered the call when the British marched on Lexington and Concord. An militia man who served to force Burgoyne to surrender at Saratoga. An artilleryman with Washington at Cornwallis surrender a Yorktown. A private at Vicksburg with Grant, later injured at the Wilderness which eventually shortened his life. An Iowa pioneer who took his son to the California Gold Rush and did ok. I fondly remember her parents as happy people, probably where she got her sharp witty humor. I have a recollection of Sumi and Tracy staying with Gramma in Preston when they were small. I recall visiting Nan and John in Austin and Tracy was off on a date with Ghassan. Thank you for lunching with us last summer. I wish it wasn't so far away and could spend more time together. Rest in peace, dear one.

Ghassan struck a meaningful chord when he stated that he won the lottery when Tracy agreed to marry him! She was truly a wonderful addition to an amazing family, and quickly won the hearts of my clan. We have treasured memories of Tracy’s bright smile and mischievous sense of humour, which brought sunshine to any gathering, and I in particular will miss the fun telephone chitchat in which we happily indulged! Tracy will be greatly missed and we extend our deepest sympathy to Ghassan and his family for their loss.

Too many wonderful memories to share. I just know how much I'll miss this dynamic, loving, funny, and generous woman. I consider her a sister of sorts. So many good times-missing her already.
