and excelled in learning and memorizing Bible verses. She attended schools in Dallas ISD
and graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in 1981. Throughout her lifetime,
she held various jobs, including Nurse Assistant for DISD, Customer Service Associate at
Protection One Security, Wyndham Hotels and Greyhound Bus Lines.
Tracy was a devoted spouse, mother, grandmother, sister and a bonus mom to many.
She was fun-loving, outgoing and embracing life to the fullest. Known affectionately
as “Baby Sister” by her siblings, she proudly claimed her title as her momma’s baby.
She welcomed anyone into her home who needed a place to stay and made sure those
around her enjoyed themselves. Her vibrant presence lit up every room she entered.
She had a unique personality and was never shy to speak her mind. Those who
experienced her love understood how extraordinary it was; she would go to any length
and do ANYTHING for those she loved.
Tracy remained forever young at heart, effortlessly connecting with people of all ages
and ensuring that every moment was full of fun and laughter. She was the ultimate
babysitter, and children always wanted to be near her. With Tracy, you could truly be
yourself. She accepted everyone as they were. Her essence of who she was, the love she
shared, and the lives she impacted will always be remembered and cherished.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Jay; her mother, Birdie Lee; her sisters,
Tonia and Regina Kim; and her youngest son and baby, Karl Jr. She leaves to cherish her
memory her spouse, Karl Wynne, and her life partner, Vincent Campbell. Her siblings
include, Jimmy Ray, Jacqueline (Joe), AJ (Faye) and Kimberly. She also leaves a
brother-in-law, Albert Quinton (Simone), a sister-in-law, Charlotte; and her bonus sister,
Mary. She is survived by her two biological children, Nytosha (Derrick Sr.) and DaMonte
(Dee), as well as two bonus children, Victoria and Vincent Jr. (Victory); thirteen
grandchildren including her favorite, NyTeara; and five great-grandchildren, including her
favorite, ZarRyein; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family
