

Travis David Tichenor, age 78, passed away on February 7, 2025 in Houston, TX. He was born on April 30, 1946 in Dallas, TX., to Travis and Billie Jean Tichenor. David was raised in Dallas and a graduate of W.W. Samuell High School and The University of Texas at Austin in 1965 and 1969, respectively. He also received his Pharmacology degree from The University of Texas in 1971.
He married Vicki Lynn Evans in 1967, and the couple had 3 boys: Kevin, Kris, and Kyle. He was a pharmacist at Big World Drug, Tichenor Broadway Pharmacy, and Eckerds/CVS for 53 years.
His passions were the Texas Longhorns, the great state of Texas, his boys sports, friendships, hunting, fishing, gun collecting, and being outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Travis and Billie Jean, his wife Vicki of 47 years, and his son Kris.
He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Colquitt, her husband James, their daughter Jamie and her daughters Gwenyth and Keevi; His son, Kevin, his wife Meredith, and their four children: Carson, Slade, Miles, and Blaire; His son Kyle, his wife Brooke, son Travis and his daughter Emma Grace.
