

Travis was born on November 19, 1946, in Waco, Texas to Raymond and Violet Wells. He grew up in Bellmead, Texas with his two brothers, Gene and Kenneth Wells, and his sister, Phyllis Andalib. He attended La Vega High School. After high school, he moved his family to the Dallas area where he began his career at Sears working in the data center. Many years later, he retired from Sears, but that didn’t slow him down. He worked at the Super Collider and retired as a bus driver for Red Oak ISD.
He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle. He cherished his time with family and friends. Travis had a passion for tinkering and repairing small engines, coaching softball, and fishing. He was always known to be kind, loving, and funny.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mary Joyce Wells and parents Raymond and Violet Wells. He is survived by his three children and their spouses, Travis and Lisa Wells, Dana and Alan Dulworth, and Candace and Michael Johnson, grandchildren, Alan, Gabby and Luna Dulworth, Austin and AJ Dulworth, Danielle Wells, Jace and Jolie Johnson and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Travis will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
