Trixie Butler

Born near Cooper, Texas 12/28/1920

Died 5/22/2016 at the age of 95 in Keller, Texas Pastor Randy Phillips of The Conservatory Senior Living officiating.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Baylor/Scott & White Hospital, Grapevine and the kind associated hospice for their efforts in helping Mom.

Trixie married William C. Butler on 9/15/1942 and was a wonderful wife for 62 years until Dad passed away 2/28/2004 She was mother to their 4 children:

Charlene Storms of Houston, Texas

Cary Butler, who pre-deceased her on 5/24/1989

Dale Butler of Denison, Texas

Dean Butler of Lantana, Texas

She had 6 grandchildren: Shannon Peters of Sugarland, Texas

Collyne Roe of Houston, Texas

Jennifer Depace of Dallas, Texas

Jeff Butler of Littleton, CO

Rosanna Pilcher of Denison, Texas

Cade Butler of Frisco, Texas and 10 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Trixie was an avid oil and acrylic painter for many years, and very much enjoyed playing piano and organ.

Roses were her favorite flower, and she enjoyed their many dogs over the years.

She liked Big-Band music, playing bridge for many years with Dad and close friends, and spending much time with family and friends.

She was pre-deceased by her husband William C. "Dub" Butler and her son Cary Butler.

Even at 95, she was beautiful, looking much younger than her years.

Mom lived a long, good life, and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

May she now rest in peace.
