We just wanted to add our sympathy at the loss of your father.  He always seemed to epitomize the best of Texas. When we last met, his warmth and sense of humor will be something we always remember.

During his breaks at Calvary Hill, I would see Urban sitting in front of the Blessed Sacrament in the North Chapel.  Speaking with Urban, I learned that he loved his God, his Church, and his family.  Urban was a shining example of faith for me and all who came in contact with him.

As I reflect back, Urban will be so missed at our family special occasions Christmas parties, birthdays, Easter ECT. His warm smile, jovial laugh and all around bubbly personality lights up any room.  His saying of "good to see you, you look brand new." 
 He will always have a very special place in my heart.  I love you Urban and I miss you already.

I am so grateful to have known this precious man.  His kindness and encouraging nature was truly an inspiration to me.  And oh how he loved to tell jokes - I enjoyed listening to every one.  He will be so very missed by my family.  We love you Urban...

Urban was one in 10,000, that rare man that was bigger in life than his stature and he was a "big" man. Those of us that were lucky enough to shake his hand knew that he had enough strength to crush a hand with no problem. His caring friendliness stood out more than his physical strength. I was the benefit of hearing many stories of life on the North Texas farm where he grew up. The chores and trips to town on a wagon pulled by a team. The oil boom and life with a big family. I did get to spend a few hours with he and Gene before his surgery and he was not in pain but was ready for the next step. Heaven has welcomed a great man that I will miss.
