Victor Gonzales, born July 28, 1928, was called home to Jesus on May 12, 2020.

I will surely Bless you and give you many descendants. They will be as many as the stars in the Sky and the sand on the seashore.(Genesis 22:17)

Victor was showered with love and spoiled by his children and many grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing on nice, warm days. He was always ready to play his guitar and sing his praises to the Lord, to a crowd of family and friends, in church or at home on his dining room table. He spent time with the Lord each day, reading his bible and always praying for his family. He was a soldier for Christ and shared his Love for Jesus with everyone that crossed his path.

He is survived by his wife, Consuelo Gonzales; son, Victor Gonzales Jr.; daughters, Mary Lou Duran, Gloria Cano, Consuelo Guerra, Eva Perez, Delia Gonzales, Rosanna Gonzales, Dora Gonzales; sons-in-Law, Gilbert Duran Sr., Julio Cano, Robert Guerra, and Benny Perez; daughter-in-Law, Donna Gonzales; step-daughters, Christina Hernandez, Josie McClendon, Debbie Calles; sister, Jessie Murillo; a multitude of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; first wife of 45 years and mother of his children, Clara Gonzales; and sons, Steve Gonzales and Joe Gonzales.

He leaves behind wonderful memories and love to be shared with generations to come. Our hearts ache for the loss of his physical being, but we rejoice in knowing that he is HOME.

His Master replied, “Well done good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your Master’s happiness.” (Matthew 25:23)

Grandpa- Your prayers and presence played such a huge role in all our lives. Your grandchildren have made it through so much of life on your prayers and faith in God. I know there is a void left in our family that we can only try to replace with our memories of you.

Thank you for loving us all the way you did, now you can rest at home.

Love you forever.

When I heard the news that you crossed over to meet your creator I started crying my eyes out. I sat on the couch looking at pictures I had of you & the family and they were all tears of Joy and happiness.

Thank you for always showing me how much you loved me, Josh and the family.
You were the greatest father-in-law for 39yrs years and I appreciated all you did for me.

Thank you for being you and thank you for loving me.

This isn’t good bye, it’s until we meet again. Love Donna💕
