Virgie Lee Moser was born in Dallas, Texas on September 10, 1932 to parents William and Nellie Wood, and passed away July 23, 2014. She enjoyed quilting, working on puzzle and word find books, and playing with her dog Xander. Virgie was a wonderful caregiver to her family and she loved spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Moser, daughters Judy Cootes and Nelva Wafer, and sister Winnine Hammonds. Virgie is survived by her loving daughter Jeannie Maddox, son Jerry Schaffer, nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, brother Sherman Wood, and many other family members and friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11:00 at Grove Hill Memorial Park, with visitation two hours prior to the service at Grove Hill Funeral Home.
