Virginia "Jeanne" Swift Cox of Ovilla, Texas was born on March 6, 1938 in Rusk, Texas. Jeanne passed away on January 10th at the age of 77 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Retilla Swift and her son, William Todd Cox. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William Cox of Ovilla, and two daughters, Susan Armstrong of Cedar Hill and Kristi McEwin of Rogers, Arkansas, two sons-in law whom she dearly loved, Paul Armstrong and Jeff McEwin. Also survived by grandchildren who affectionately called her "NeNe," Paul David Armstrong II, Kasey Armstrong, Willie Cox, Jeffrey McEwin, Nicholas McEwin, Matthew McEwin and four great grandchildren. Her greatest love was her children and grandkids. She was a devoted mother and wife. In her final hours she was surrounded by her family and lovingly cared for by the staff of Hospice Plus of Dallas at the Jackson Court Rehab Center. A graceful lady with an infectious, beautiful smile showed strength and grace throughout her life. She will be forever missed and loved.
