Von R. Douhit passed away May 28th. Von was born May 15, 1929, to Ruby and George Douthit, and was a lifelong Dallasite. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High and earned a BA degree in Accounting in 1956 from SMU. He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Jo Melton, and a daughter, Colleen Kay. Mr. Douhit is survived by nephew, Randy Melton and wife Karen, and their sons Jonathan, Matthew and Michael, and a devoted friend Ray Butler. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Sparkman Hillcrest. The funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 1st at Sparkman Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel.
