She briefly attended Mountain View College, where she studied Spanish for non-native speakers. And retired from a career of property management.
Waleen's hobbies included reading, going to church as religion was very important to her, spending time with her family and helping others. She relished in any opportunity to help anyone who asked. She would have truly given the shirt off of her back for someone.
Waleen was part of St. Michael's church in Grand Prairie, Texas where she attended mass as often as possible. And she was part of the Mom Squad, a group of mom's who planned and attended events and were each other's companions.
Waleen's greatest achievement in life was her family, ever growing. And her 14 most precious grandbabies. Her children and grandchildren were her entire world.
