Dear Mimi and Anita,
   I was so sad to hear about your dad. I had been trying to reach him for about a mmonth and one day in January he answered and told me about the cancer.  He assured me that he would keep me posted and wouldn’t give me either of your phone numbers. I had tried again several times and just happened on his obituary. 
He was so dear to me. I have missed him so much since I moved back here, it was something that had to be done.
