Wayne Brian Austin

Wayne Brian Austin went to be with The Lord Jesus on the morning of February 6, 2019.

Brian was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to the parents of Frederick and Kathryn Austin, Sr.

He was the second oldest son of five children.

Brian lived most of his life in the Dallas area where he was a member of the first graduating class of Skyline High School.

He loved camping and canoeing on the Brazos River where he made annual trips for decades.

Brian was an accomplished musician who loved to bowl and never met a stranger.

He was a shade tree mechanic who kept his 1979 Ford Fairmont running like a dream.

In 1976 Brian met the love of his life and married Sandi Coburn-Austin and they had three children Timothy, Julie, and Lindsay whom he adored and to whom he was a wonderful father.

Brian is preceded in passing by his daughter Lindsay Austin, Father, Frederick Austin, Sr, Brother Douglas Austin, Sister Kathryn “Cai” Austin, and several friends and other family.

He is survived by his wife Ardis “Sandi” Coburn Austin, children Julie Austin and Timothy Austin, grandchildren Caleb Austin(16), Joel Austin(15), Ariel Austin(13), Rachel Austin(8), mother Kathryn Austin, Brother Rev. Father Jonathan Austin, brother Frederick Austin, Jr., Aunt Doris Gallant, and other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Brian’s life at St Jude Chapel at 1521 Main St. in Downtown Dallas on Saturday February 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM.

Calvary Hill Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas has charge of arrangements.

Sandi Austin is a loving wife and mother and adoring grandmother. No wife ever worried and cared for a mate more than Sandi has.
Brian was so blessed to have been loved by Sandi till the day he went to Jesus.
