Wayne Ray Baker was born December 15, 1962 in Dallas, TX and joined his father in heaven on July 15, 2012 in Garland, TX. Wayne was preceded in death by his father and hero, Ray Baker. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kathy Baker; daughter, Bonni Rae Baker; son, Andrew Wayne Baker; mother, Woodena Baker; sister, Raydene Bean & husband Billy; numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends. Wayne played the mandolin and sang bass with By Faith Alone which strengthened his faith during his health challenges. Visitation is 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Grove Hill Funeral Home with burial following at Grove Hill Memorial Park. Ministers for the service will be: Minister Steve Weeks, Rev. Ozzy Connor and Rev. Aubrey Overturf.
