William passed away at age 92 in Cedar Hill, Texas from an aggressive cancer. William was preceded in death by his father Carter B. White, Sr., mother Eurie White, his first wife Annalee Johnson White, brother Carter B. White, Jr. and his second wife Myra Kirby White. William is survived by his son William T. White, Jr. and wife Beverly White of Jackson, TN., stepdaughter Kay Kirby Balthrop and husband Steve Balthrop of Electra, TX. There are many grandchildren and great grandchildren. William was a WWII veteran and received a degree in Architectural/Civil Engineering, graduating in the upper 3% of his class with membership in the Scholastic Engineering Societies of Chi Epsilon and Tau Beta Pi. William retired from Chance Vought (LTV) after 33 years and he and his wife enjoyed flying to many places in an airplane he built. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Experimental Aircraft Association.
