Willie Salazar Medellin

Willie Salazar Medellin, age 82, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 in San Antonio, TX to Macario and Catarina Medellin. Willie was raised in Dallas, TX, He married Reyes Medellin and the couple had 3 children. He worked at Vent-a-Hood for more than 40 years. In his spare time Willie enjoyed drinking at the bars and watching sports. His family and friends will always remember him as the jokester who loved to tell stories while drinking a beer. His is preceded in death by his wife Reyes Medellin. He is survived by his 3 children; Willie Jr., Carol and Rachel, his grandchildren; Crystal, Cindy, Jason, Deion, Victor, Jonathan, Samantha, Isaiah, Isabella and Ian and his 9 great-grandchildren, his 2 brothers, Ted and Frank Medellin.

A visitation for Willie will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A rosary will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220.
