Willie “Billie” Alice Pfeffer was born December 31, 1920 in New York, Texas. She passed away on December 28, 2020 in Rockwall, Texas. Billie, better known as Mamaw was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She graduated from LaPaynor High School in 1939 where she played basketball. She moved to Dallas after graduation and worked in restaurants and building planes at the North American Aviation plant during World War II. She met Nick who was in the service and they married in October of 1945. Together they raised three children in Dallas. Bowling and fishing were her passions, along with her Great-Grandchildren. Her coconut pie was a family favorite. When COVID kept us all at home, she was still able to get out and take boat rides and ride on the golf cart. If the Great-Grandkids were going, she was going too. She was blessed with a long healthy life and was within 2 days of turning 100. She blessed the lives of everyone she touched and will forever be missed.
Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Nick of 68 years; son, Frank Pfeffer; Granddaughter, Amy Pfeffer; David and Mattie Morrow; her parents; along with 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
She is survived by her son, Eugene Pfeffer and his wife Robbi of Kaufman; Daughter, Carol Inman and her husband Danny of Rockwall; Daughter in law, Sandy Miller; Grandchildren, Kevin Pfeffer and wife Tina, Chris Inman, Frank Pfeffer and wife Brittany, Jenni Kahler and husband Jamison; Great-Grandchildren, Gavin, Gage, Grayden and Gentry Pfeffer, Cameron and McKenzie Kahler; Sister-in-law Mary Sieben; Brother in law George Pfeffer and numerous nieces and nephews.
