Willie Mae Taylor

She worked for Children’s Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas as a secretary, retiring after 26 years of service.

She was a phenomenal mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with family. She will remembered as a woman both strong and good, who gave her best for others and did the best she could.

Willie died unexpectedly at Carrollton Regional Hospital in Carrollton, Texas on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the age of 77.

She is preceded In death by her parents, Maebelle and T.J. Gipson, 2 sons; Gary and Robert Taylor, sisters and brothers; Gertrude Armstead, Elmer Ray Gipson, Seymon Gipson, Kathleen Thomas, Alice Gipson and James Gipson.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories in the heart of her children: Averill Wright and George Taylor, sisters: Jo Ann Money, Sadie Gipson, Calversia Byrd and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends.
