唐义经, 2024年4月11号晚心脏病突发,虽然在美国达拉斯布兰诺医疗中心的支架手术成功,但因年老体虚,几经反复,经过26天的顽强努力后仍未能康复,5月6号在妻子,儿女孙辈们的陪伴下平静过世,享年虚岁90。
唐义经于农历1934年5月10号出生于湖南新邵县,1961年8月与同乡黄建英结婚。育有一儿唐军,一女唐容,孙女唐文靓,外孙女张阳阳 (Emily Zhang), 外孙 张思源 (Allan Zhang),和重外孙徐有斐 (Jayden Xu)。
唐义经一生努力拼搏。两岁左右父亲去世,三岁时母亲改嫁后流落到堂爷爷家,从六七岁起就边放牛边上学,直至小学五年级失学。1949年后自己独立生活。1951年参军,受环境影响产生了强烈的学习文化的欲望,靠自学考入邵阳市一中,1959年考入湖南湘雅医学院,1961年上学期间因阑尾炎误诊引起急性腹膜炎导致病危,经过约40 天的努力后痊愈,仍旧随班学习,于1964年9月按时毕业。
唐义经 医学院毕业后分配到长沙马王堆疗养院,1968年左右转入湖南省委门诊部工作直到1994年退休。先做内科医生,后任副院长。他个性随和,工作努力,从不挑剔抱怨,乐于助人,尽能力帮助机关工人,跟同事相处极其融洽,得到了大家的喜爱和信任,诊所的护士们很喜欢跟他开玩笑。
退休后来到美国达拉斯和女儿居住,含怡弄孙享受天伦之乐。有机会周游世界,空余时间仍然努力学习英文,下下象棋,陪夫人打打牌,钓钓鱼,玩宾果游戏,参加老人活动中心的活动。
Tang Yijing suffered a sudden heart attack on the evening of April 11, 2024. Although the stent surgery at Medical City Plano, Texas, was successful, unfortunately, due to old age and frailty, despite 26
days of tenacious effort, he could not recover. He passed away peacefully on May 6, 2024, at the age of 90, surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Tang Yijing was born on May 10, 1934, in Xinshao County, Hunan Province, China. In August 1961, he married his fellow villager, Huang Jianying. They had a son, Tang Jun, a daughter, Tang Rong, a granddaughter, Tang Wenliang, a granddaughter, Zhang Yangyang (Emily Zhang), a grandson, Zhang Siyuan (Allan Zhang), and a great-grandson, Xu Youfei (Jayden Xu).
Tang Yijing worked incredibly hard all his life. His father passed away when he was around two years old, and he was raised by his maternal uncle's family after his mother remarried. From the age of six or seven, he herded cattle while attending school until he dropped out in the fifth grade. After 1949, he lived independently. In 1951, he joined the army, and influenced by his environment, developed a strong desire for education. Through dedication and self-study, he was admitted to Shaoyang No. 1 High School. In 1959, he was accepted into Hunan Medical College. During the first semester of 1961, he was critically ill due to a misdiagnosed appendicitis that led to acute peritonitis. After about 40 days of battling the illness, he recovered and continued his studies with his class, graduating on time in September 1964.
After graduating from medical school, Tang Yijing was assigned to the Changsha Mawangdui Sanatorium. Around 1968, he transferred to the Hunan Provincial Committee Outpatient Department, where he worked until his retirement in 1994. He started as an internist and later became the deputy director of the hospital. He was easygoing, hardworking, never complained or criticized, and was always willing to help others. He got along extremely well with his colleagues and was loved and trusted by everyone, and the clinic nurses enjoyed joking with him.
After retiring, he moved to Dallas, USA, to live with his daughter, enjoying family happiness. He had the opportunity to travel around the world, and in his spare time, he still diligently studied English, played chess, and played cards with his wife. He also found time to go fishing, play bingo, and participate in activities at the senior center.
A a celebration of life for Yijing will be held Sunday, May 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home & Hillcrest Mausoleum & Memorial Park, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225.
