Yolanda Torres

Yolanda Torres was born in Dallas, Texas on August 9, 1949 to Rosa Benavides and Cruz S. Torres. She entered into rest on April 24, 2026 at the age of 76.

Yolanda was raised in Dallas where she attended Crozier Tech High School, Class of '67. She went on to build a career in the military, having served for 6 years. She also worked in administration having provided her skills as an Incident Business Advisor (IBA) for FEMA. Other accomplishments included interests in art and photography, as well as taking part in Crozier Tech functions.

In her spare time, Yolanda enjoyed the casino, going to the movies, and dancing. Her family and friends will always remember her as jolly, loving, funny, and feisty.

She is preceded in death by her son, Martin Torres; her parents, Rosa and Cruz; and her brother, John Villagran.

She is survived by her son, Augustine Trillo; grandchildren, Carlo Lopez, Julian Angel Trillo; Gabriela E. Trillo, and Maximillian A. Trillo; great-grandson, Phillip Augustine Trillo; and her brothers and sisters, Rosie, Irma, Cruz, Mary, and Abel.

A Celebration of Life service will held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220.
