Age 92, who retired in 1982 as a Buyer for the City of Dallas, died of a stroke on November 25, 2012. She was born in Missouri and lived in Mesquite, Texas for 55 years where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her only child, daughter Diane Dercks of Garland; two grand-children, Christine Gullette of Dallas and David Dercks of Allen and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Grove Hill Funeral Home, Friday, November 30 at 11 a.m. with graveside service at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
