Alba I. Alsina, 76, of Danbury, beloved wife of the late Rafael Alsina, passed away peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Sunday, December 29, 2013.Alba was born in New York City, where she was raised by her parents the late Felix and Rosalina Berrios. She had worked for many years as an executive secretary in the Banking industry.

She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Castro of Danbury and Denise Alsina-Mayo of Virginia Beach, VA., grandchildren; Gina Battagliola, Vanessa Loguercio, Maurice Castro and Sebastien Castro, great-grandchildren; Rosalina and Michael Battagliola.Funeral services will be held at Walnut Hill Community Church, Bethel, on Friday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Friends may call at Walnut Hill Community Church, 156 Walnut Hill Rd., Bethel, CT 06810, on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, is in charge of arrangements. Contributions in her memory may be made to Walnut Hill Community Church.
