Ann Mitchell

Ann was born in Mt. Vernon, NY, the daughter of the late Edward and Jessie Witz. She attended Mt. Vernon schools. She has been the owner of the New Fairfield Mobil for over forty years. She enjoyed meeting and getting to know her customers over the many years of serving New Fairfield.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Mitchell-Young of Portsmouth, RI, and Doreen Mitchell of New Fairfield as well as her grandson Joseph Mitchell. She also leaves her husband, Alexander "Sandy" Mitchell of Stuart, FL. She was predeceased by her brothers, Edward and Francis "Archie" Witz. Ann was a loyal, devoted and loving mother and grandmother.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., with a funeral service to be held at the Green Funeral Home, on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family.
