Anne DeLuca, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Village at Brookfield Common, Brookfield, CT, after a difficult battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Anne was a resident of New Fairfield, CT since 1981 and a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church.
Born on August 12, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mary and Joseph Creme and sister to the late Stephen Creme. On February 24, 1951, she married Severino DeLuca, her loving husband of 67 years, who survives her at home. She is also survived by her daughter Debra (George) Mihailin and her son, Stephen (Joanne) DeLuca. She was a loving grandmother, “Nani,” to her four grandchildren, Lisa and Thomas Tramazzo and Stephanie and Michael DeLuca.
Some of Anne’s passions were cooking, gardening, and spending time with loved ones. She also loved dancing and listening to the songs of Frank Sinatra.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018, from 5 - 8 pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield, CT. Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Danbury, CT.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Village at Brookfield Common for the loving care they gave Anne throughout the past 2 ½ years.
