She is survived by her three children: her eldest son, Michael, his wife Carol, and their two daughters, Ella and Greta; her middle son, Peter, with his daughter Allison and son Kristopher, along with their mother Melanie; and her daughter Pamela, with her two fur babies Mandolin and Niff.
Barbara's legacy extends far beyond her family. She leaves behind a lifetime of adventures, especially in her book "Second Career Volunteer: A Passionate Pennywise Approach to a Unique Lifestyle," and countless friendships forged during her travels across the country. Barbara had an insatiable curiosity for meeting people, exploring new places, and learning, but her true passion was writing. Her words will continue to inspire and entertain, ensuring that her spirit lives on in every story she tells and every heart she touches. Especially with her grandchildren.
