Basilio C. Lopes

Basilio Lopes, age 67, of Brookfield, Connecticut, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018. Basilio was born April 17, 1951 to the late Joaquim Lopes and Maria Da Encarnacao Carvalho Lopes in Caldas Da Rainha, Portugal.

Basilio is survived by his loving wife Maria (Rodrigues) Lopes and her children, Fabiana, Filipe, Fagnar. Basilio also leaves behind his devoted children, Roger Lopes and wife Emily, Victor Lopes and wife Iandra and Ana Paula Cruz and husband Paulo. Basilio also leaves behind his loving grandchildren Michelle Lopes, Alec Lopes, Mariana Lopes, Nathan Abrantes, John Lopes, Elyse Abrantes and Lucas Lopes. In addition, Basilio leaves behind the mother of his children, Emilia Branco, his loving brother, Jose Lopes, his two sisters-in-law, two nieces and a nephew. Basilio Lopes is predeceased by parents and his brother, llidio Lopes.

Calling hours for Basilio will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, Connecticut, 06810. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 149 Deer Hill Ave, Danbury, Connecticut, 06810. A burial will take place Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Saint Peter Cemetery, Lake Ave Extension, Danbury, Connecticut.
